WellVision Exam

  • Comprehensive Eye Health: A thorough exam that focuses on your eyes and overall wellness. Typically covered in full after a small copay.
  • Retinal Screening: Routine retinal screenings are available for a copay of no more than $39.

Prescription Glasses

Standard prescription glasses are typically covered after a small copay. What is included:

  • Frames: Members receive an allowance starting from $130 (plus an extra $20 for Featured Frame Brands). They also receive 20% savings on any amount over the allowance.
  • Lenses: Single vision, lined bifocal, and lined trifocal lenses are covered in full. Impact-resistant lenses are included for dependent children.
  • Lens Enhancements: Members enjoy guaranteed pricing on all lens enhancements. Under the Signature Plan, members save an average of 35% - 40%, while the Choice Plan offers an average of 30% savings on enhancements like anti-glare or light-reactive lenses.
  • Contacts (Instead of Glasses): An allowance starting from $130 for elective prescription contact lenses. The contact lens exam (fitting and evaluation) is covered in full after a copay of no more than $60.

Essential Medical EyeCare

VSP provides more than just glasses. Your group plan includes coverage for urgent and medical eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of pink eye, dry eye, sudden changes in vision, glaucoma, diabetes, and more. These services are covered in full after a small copay.

Additional Member Savings

  • Extra Glasses: 20% savings on unlimited additional pairs of prescription glasses or non-prescription sunglasses from any VSP doctor within 12 months of the last exam.
  • Laser Vision Correction: Average savings of 15% - 20% off the regular price at contracted facilities.
  • Hearing Aids: Save up to 60% on digital hearing aids through TruHearing.

Note: If an employee chooses to see an out-of-network provider, they will receive less coverage. Coverage with a retail chain may be different or not apply.
